The Egg Bowl

This one of the most exciting games of the year, scratch that...This used to be the most exciting game of the year. This year and the last three years, this has been better known as the TOILET BOWL.

The Egg Bowl no longer is played on Thanksgiving Night. It is no longer played on TV. Both teams have a combined 5 wins on the year. This is a sad day in Mississippi Sports History. I have heard that a lot of people are going to boycott the game due to the losing seasons, deer season opening, and the time of the game. The game is going to be played at 1:30 p.m. The game is usually played at night, but due to the game not being on TV, they changed the time. This is a disgrace.

Yours truely will be in attendance, only because he got free tickets to sit in a private suite. That's right, free food, free drinks, two TV's to watch other games, ice cream in the third quarter, and if it gets to cold, we can shut the glass to block the wind. I will have fun, even if the Bulldogs lose.

This will be the 102nd time the Egg Bowl has been played. This is certain to be at least a decent game due to the rivaly and the talent of the two teams. They seem to match up pretty well. Ole Miss has won the last three and has won the last 5 out of 6. We will be looking to change this statistic Saturday. GO STATE!!!!!!!
