PePa's new home since Katrina

This is PePa's FEMA trailor. Looks comfy, huh? Well, the family went to visit the coast this weekend for Julie's 10 year reunion. We had the pleasure of staying in this trailor. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it was small for all 4 of us.
These next pics are pics of the house Julie grew up in. Katrina was roughly 11 months ago, and there are so many houses that are still unliveable. Every street you go down, all you see is FEMA trailors.
This is a picture of a stand up shower that I never even knew they had. From what Julie said, they didn't use it. I believe this area was used as a storage room.
This is a picture taken from Julie's old room to the house across the street. They were told they had to elevate their home after the Hurricane. A lot of the houses in this neighborhood are in the process of raising their homes. PePa got some good news that he doesn't have to raise his house, but the bad news was that they didn't tell him until about 2 months ago.
This is a picture from Julie's old room all the way to the master bathroom. If you look close, you can see Julie in the background.
This is a picture down the hall from the kitchen to the guest bathroom.
As you can tell, the house has been gutted. PePa had to go through the whole house and rub every board with this mold solution to keep the house from being toxic.

well, he has to rebuild the whole inside. I guess when ever he gets time. He will probably do most of the work himself. He is pretty much a handy man.
